A super healthy cereal ragi which is a vegan, gluten-free source of protein. It acts as a good baby food due to its rich nutrient content and calcium content. Semolina (Rava) is made up of durum wheat which provides high satiety and boosts energy. Egg whites are cholesterol free which aids in heart health.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Ragi flour (nachani) - 2 tbsp
  • Rava (semolina) - 1 tsp 
  • Egg Whites - 2 no.
  • Green chillis (chopped) - 1 no.
  • Pepper powder - ½ tsp 
  • Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
  • Ginger (chopped) - 1 tsp 
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tsp 
  • Curry leaves (chopped) - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida (hing) - a pinch 
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water - as required
  • Onion (chopped) - 1 small
  • Oil for frying - 2 tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a mixing bowl, add rava, ragi flour and salt. Mix it well Step 2 Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl, such as onion, cumin seeds, ginger, hing, green chilli, pepper powder, coriander leaves, and curry leaves and mix Step 3 The egg whites should be whisked and then added to the flour, fullowed by the water. Step 4 It should be well mixed into the consistency of dosa batter. Step 5 Preheat the tava and pour a ladleful of batter on it, drizzle little oil. Step 6 When the bottom of the dosa is gulden brown, flip it over. This usually takes 20-30 seconds. Step 7 Cook till both sides are done.
