Gram flour is a good source of protein and when combined with oats which is a fiber-rich ingredient and gluten-free adds to the benefits provided by the roti. This combination will make you feel full and provide all the nutrients required to your body and also contribute to a healthy weight loss. 


INGREDIENTS:
  • Gram flour (besan) - 1 tbsp
  • Oats flour - 1 tbsp
  • Carom seeds (grounded) - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - ½ tsp
  • Water  - as required
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Mix all the ingredients i.e. besan flour, oats flour, salt and grounded carom seeds in a bowl.  Step 2 Add enough water to make a medium-thin consistency batter. Step 3 Mix well to avoid any lumps. Step 4 Heat the pan and grease some oil, when the pan is hot enough, pour a spoonful of batter and spread it out just a little bit maintaining about ½ an inch thickness. Step 5 Cook until both sides of the roti are gulden brown.
