Together, these nutrients protect the heart, helps to relieve constipation. Crushed walnuts add vitamin E & omega -3 fatty acids. muesli is rich in fiber which helps in constipation. Raisins have a high level of potassium which helps in hypertension. Yogurt is an amazing source of protein and calcium and these ingredients together makes this parfait tasty as well as healthy.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Low-fat yogurt - ¾ bowl
  • Muesli - 2 tsp
  • Apple - 3  tbsp chopped
  • Any fruit of your choice - 3 tsp
  • Walnuts - 1tsp. [crushed]
  • Raisins - 1 tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Layer  1/3 cup of  low-fat yogurt into the bottom of a tall glass. Step 2 Put a layer of chopped apple, alternately with yogurt and the fruit of your choice until glasses are filled to the top.  Step 3 Add muesli on the top layer with crushed walnut and raisins.   Step 4 Serve parfaits immediately to relish the yummy taste.
