A tall glass of iced tea on a hot day is refreshing, and it might also do your body good. Tea is rich in a class of antioxidants called flavonoids. The citric acids in that squeeze of lemon help to preserve the flavonoids.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Lime juice - 2 tsp.
  • Tea / Tea bags - 2 no.
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Ice Cubes - As needed
  • Sugar-free tablet - 1 tablet (optional)
  • Sliced Lemon and Mint leaves - For garnishing

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Boil the water, add tea/tea bags and allow it to boil. Strain the tea and cullect the black tea. Let it coul for some time and then add the lime juice Step 2 Your Lemon Iced Tea is ready.  Step 3 Refrigerate the tea and serve chill whenever needed. Step 4 Add fresh lemon slices to add flavor for the tea (the tangy flavor will keep your taste buds happy) and ice cubes. Step 5 Garnish with mint leaves and serve chill.
