The main ingredient in phalahari chutney is coriander leaves which contains a good amount of vitamin C (a natural antioxidant). It is a rich source of vitamins like riboflavin and niacin. It is also a good source of minerals like potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, and manganese. Hence, it is essential for the regulation of heart rate and blood pressure. It also has antiseptic, anti-fungal and digestive properties. 

INGREDIENTS:
  • Coriander leaves - 1. 5 cups tightly packed
  • Green chili - 1
  • Lemon juice (optional) - ½ -1 tsp
  • Water for grinding the chutney - 1 or 1 ½ tbsp
  • Rock salt or Sendha Namak  - as required
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Mix all the ingredients mentioned above and grind till smooth in a blender or chutney grinder. Step 2 Serve phalahari chutney with any fasting snack
