Mint leaves add a cool, invigorating flavor to this simple, antioxidant-rich tea. And studies show that drinking green tea may help fight cancer and heart disease, so savor this iced drink.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Fresh mint leaves - 3 or 5 nos.
  • Green tea bag - 1 no.
  • Lime juice - 1 tsp 
  • Sugar-free powder - ½ tsp 
  • Ice - as per needed
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Place mint leaves in a large glass. Crush gently with clean hands.  Step 2 Add tea bags, lime juice and pour hot water over top leaving a few inches of room.  Step 3 Cover and refrigerate for 4-6 hours. Remove tea bags; serve over ice.  Step 4 Add sugar-free to sweeten. It is up to you if you wish to add.  Step 5 A few fresh lavender leaves, if you have them on hand.
