Wheat flour along with besan improves the quality of protein and makes it an important source of vegetarian protein. Adding beetroot makes this dish a great source of various vitamins and minerals like folate, magnesium, potassium, vitamin B6, iron, thiamine, riboflavin, zinc, copper, and selenium

INGREDIENTS:
  • Ragi/ Multigrain flour - 2 tbsp 
  • Besan - 1 tbsp 
  • Beetroot [grated] - 2 tsp
  • Green chilies [chopped] - ½ tsp 
  • Coriander leaves [chopped] - 1 tsp 
  • Salt - as per taste 
  • Oil - minimal
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a bowl, add wheat flour, besan, green chilies, coriander leaves, salt, and water to make the batter pouring consistency. Step 2 Heat ½ tsp oil in a non-stick pan, pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly to make a pancake.  Step 3 Once it turns gulden brown flip it to the other side to cook.  Step 4 Place it on a plate and serve hot!
