Makhana is a very nutrient-dense food that is high in antioxidants, helps in balancing blood sugar levels, supports weight loss, has anti-aging properties, and promotes heart health. Also, the recipe has the goodness of milk protein and vitamins, and minerals. 

INGREDIENTS:
  • Skim milk - 1 cup [100 ml]
  • Makhana - 15 g
  • Mixed nuts [powered almond and walnuts]- 1 tsp
  • Banana/apple/mango  - 1 small
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Combine all the dry ingredients and blend until finely powdered. Step 2  Add milk and blend once again, and serve immediately.  Step 3  You can also add a date in place of banana/apple/mango.
