Broken wheat [Dalia] is an excellent source of fiber. It provides 5 gms of fiber per ¼  cup, which is 20 per cent of the recommended daily value. Broken wheat [Dalia] fits well in a low-fat diet. It has no saturated fat, trans fat or cholesterol. When used in combination with milk it is a very good cereal protein combination which provides calcium, proteins, potassium which helps maintain healthy blood pressure.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Broken wheat [Dalia] - 30 gms 
  • Milk - ½ cup 
  • Sugar free ( optional) - ½ tsp 
  • Raisins - 5 gms
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Soak dalia in water for 10 -15 minutes.  Step 2 Cover and cook the daliya in the same water for 10 minutes till it is done. Add sugar-free natura ½ tsp or you can have without sugar as well.  Step 3 Add ½ cup milk, bring it to boil, add raisins & serve hot.
