Khyati's Health-O-Meter Says:

Yogurt is an amazing source of protein and calcium, a great probiotic for gut health. Oranges are an excellent source of Vitamin C which helps in boosting immunity, improves iron absorption, and lowers the stress hormone i.e., cortisol. It also protects the cells from damage and helps the body to make collagen i.e., a protein that heals wounds and gives smoother skin.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Hung curd or yogurt - ½ cup / ½ katori
  • Orange - 1 medium-sized
  • Dried herbs - ¼ tsp
  • Fresh zest of orange - 1 pinch [Optional]
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Discard the seeds, and the outer thin skin of the orange, and use only pulp. Grate the outer skin of the orange lightly to get the zest. Step 2  In a bowl whisk yogurt, add in the pulp, add zest (if using), and all the seasonings.  Step 3  Mix it well and then garnish it with black pepper.  Step 4  Serve this Citrus-Yogurt Dip with roasted paneer, barbecued or grilled food, and enjoy!
