Oats are high in soluble fibre and beta-glucan which is a protective factor against bad cholesterol (LDL). Oats in combination with milk is a very good cereal protein combination which provides calcium, protein, and potassium which helps maintain healthy blood pressure. Cinnamon is an excellent source for regulating blood sugar and improving alertness and concentration. Yoghurt is an amazing source of protein and calcium and these ingredients together make this smoothie tasty as well as healthy.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Oats - 1 tbsp 
  • Milk - 100ml [1 cup] 
  • Apple [chopped pieces] - ½ no.
  • Cinnamon powder - a pinch
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Peel the skin of the apple, and cut it into small pieces.  Step 2 Blend oats, and apples with the milk into an appropriate consistency.  Step 3 Add a pinch of cinnamon powder on top, and serve chilled.
