Cracked wheat is being a good source of your regular requirement of manganese and fiber that is much needed in your food and dalia good for weight loss. Chicken consists of high-quality protein and a relatively low amount of fat. In addition, fat in chicken is mostly of the unsaturated type, which protects against heart disease.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Whole wheat flour - 10 g
  • Dalia/couscous - 30 g
  • Chicken - 15 g
  • Onion - 10 g
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
  • Coriander-cumin powder - ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder - ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to shallow fry
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Knead the atta, and enough water to make a dough. Keep aside. Step 2 Heat the oil in a pan and temper with cumin seeds. Then add the onion and saute till light brown. Step 3 Now add the ginger-garlic paste, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala powder and turmeric powder mixed with little water. Saute till oil separates. Step 4 Add the chicken and salt and fry till dry.  Add 1 cup water and cook, mix it with the chicken and cook for some time on a low flame till all the moisture dries up. Step 5 When coul, mix the chicken filling with the dalia/ couscous and salt to taste. Keep aside.  Step 6 Rull out one portion dough into a small circle, place a portion of the filling and bring all the edges together and close. Rull into a circle with the help of some atta and keep aside. Rull the rest of the dough in a similar manner with the filling. Step 7 Heat the tava and shallow fry the parathas with help of little oil on both sides till light brown. serve with yogurt.
