Sprouts are the perfect plant-based food which can help us to reduce our blood cholesterol levels, which in turn reduces heart strokes and other heart issues. Also, they contain a good amount of protein making it important for all the vegetarians.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Split Bengal gram sprouts - 2 tbsp
  • Onion, sliced - ½ medium
  • Tomato, sliced - ½ medium
  • Garlic, minced - ½ tsp
  • Green chilli, chopped -1
  • Whole wheat bread - 2 slices
  • Cumin powder - ½ tsp
  • Pav bhaji masala - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - to taste/ rock salt

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Take split Bengal gram sprouts, garlic, green chilli in a bowl.  Step 2 Season with cumin powder, pav bhaji masala, rock salt, and mix. Mash together for the stuffing.  Step 3 Place onion, sprouts stuffing and tomato on a slice of bread.  Step 4 Sprinkle a little salt and place another slice of bread. Spicy sprouts sandwich is ready!
