Khyati's Health-O-Meter Says:

Egg white is a vital storehouse of all the essential nutrients, making it an integral part of a healthy diet. A known rich source of protein and also high in riboflavin and vitamin B2. Eggs whites are a smart food choice for those who reduce the intake of carbohydrates in a bit to lose excess weight. Egg white scrambled, accompanied with whole wheat or multi-grain bread, not only increases its nutritional value with the added fiber obtained from the bread but also makes it a yummy healthy breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Egg whites - 4 nos.
  • Milk - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Pepper - as per taste
  • Oil - ½ tsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Scrambled eggs are made by mixing eggs together with milk.  Step 2 Crack the eggs into a medium mixing bowl.  Step 3 This is best done by first cracking each egg, one at a time, into a small bowl before.  Step 4 Add milk and salt and mix well. Measure the milk carefully, as cooked egg will only huld a certain amount of liquid and too much will cause the egg to "weep" moisture. Step 5 Do not cook on the heat that is too high, as this will cause the eggs to stick to the pan and become flaky and dry. Add oil in the pan, add the egg mixture to the frying pan and cook over medium heat for 30 seconds.  Step 6 Soft fulds of the cooked egg will begin to develop. Repeat the pushing action with the spoon every 10 seconds (or a slow count to 10), including around the pan edge to prevent the egg mixture sticking.  Step 7 Cook for 2 minutes or until about three-quarters of the mixture is cooked and one-quarter is still liquidy.  Step 8 Remove the pan from heat, spoon the eggs and serve immediately.
