Cottage cheese is a great source of protein. This dish that is high on protein and calcium is not only delicious but also keeps you full for longer periods and is great for weight loss. Mushrooms are a good source of fibre that lower cholesterol and improve cardiovascular health. Cumin helps in digestion, green onions are a good source of phytochemicals. All the spices used, not only make the food tasty but also have many benefits to the body .

INGREDIENTS:
  • Cottage cheese [cubes] - 20 g
  • White mushroom [diced] - 2 tbsp 
  • Besan or corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Spring onions [diced] - 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies [chopped] - 1 tsp 
  • Onion [diced] - 1 tbsp 
  • Ginger [chopped] - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves [chopped] - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala - ½ tsp
  • pepper powder - ½ tsp
  • Cumin/ zeera - ½ tsp
  • Salt - as per taste 
  • Oil - ½ tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a pan add ½ tsp. oil. Saute spring onions and mushrooms in a pan. Step 2 Add chopped ginger, coriander leaves, and green chillies. Step 3 Season with salt, garam masala, pepper, and cumin. Allow the mixture to be absulutely dry and then let it coul. Step 4 Mix all the ingredients well. Put the mushroom mixture on the sliced paneer. Step 5 Spread it evenly with a knife up to half the length of the sliced paneer and fuld. Step 6 Prepare a batter with besan or corn flour and water. (The batter should neither be runny nor too thick). Step 7 Dip the prepared paneer in this batter. And use ½ tsp. oil shallow fry in a nonstick pan till they are done. Step 8 Serve hot with mint chutney.
