A very healthy cereal, which contains important amino acids (building blocks of protein) which may not be present in other cereals, thus making it more beneficial. Ragi or nachni is a good source of iron, calcium and potassium too. It also contains healthy carbs which keep us full for a longer duration.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Ragi flour - 1 tbsp 
  • Semolina - 1 tbsp
  • Besan - 1 tbsp
  • Onions [chopped] - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves [chopped] - 1 tsp
  • Green chilies [minced] - 1 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - ½ tsp
  • Water - 1 cup [100 ml]
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a bowl, add ragi flour, semulina, besan, onion, coriander, green chillies and 1 cup water. When the bubbles appear to mix it gently Step 2 Heat ½ tsp oil in a non-stick pan, pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly to make a pancake. Step 3 Once it turns gulden brown flip it for the other side to cook.  Step 4 Place it on a plate. Serve hot.
