Hung curd is one of the best sources of protein. Carrots and cucumbers are nutritionally dense and provide a range of vitamins and minerals. Cucumber helps you stay hydrated and thus flush out toxins from the body. This easy-to-make open toast is a time saver and is also extremely appetizing! Don’t limit its nutritional benefits, enjoy these with friends and family!

INGREDIENTS:
  • Multigrain/ whole wheat bread - 2 slices
  • Hung Curd - 20 g
  • Grated cucumber - 2 tbsp
  • Grated carrot - 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies [finely chopped] - 1 no.
  • Coriander leaves [finely chopped] - 2 tsp
  • Mustard sauce [optional] - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil [optional] - minimal
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Combine all the ingredients in a bowl including the hung curd, carrots, cucumber, chillies, and mustard sauce in a bowl & mix well. Step 2 Add in a pinch of black pepper powder and salt as per taste. Step 3 Divide the topping into two equal parts & keep it aside. Step 4 Take 2 slices of bread and spread the mixture evenly on both of them. Garnish with some coriander leaves on top. Step 5 Cut each bread sandwich into 2 equal portions diagonally & serve immediately!
