A perfect breakfast with makhana, curd, vegetable, and some spices.Makhana also known as lotus seeds is an Asian water plant that is mainly cultivated for its edible seeds.It is rich in protein and fiber, which may be beneficial for weight loss and fat loss, easily digestible, combined with the goodness of curd that gives us required proteins and antibiotics that keep our gut healthy and vegetables the best source of antioxidants, fiber that will give satiety.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Makhana [fox nuts/lotus seeds] - 15 g 
  • Curd - 1 katori
  • Onion - 2 tbsp [chopped]
  • Tomato - 2 tbsp [chopped]
  • Roasted chana - 1 tsp 
  • Roasted Peanuts - 1 tsp 
  • Chaat masala - to taste 
  • Green chili, chopped -  ½ (optional)
  • Coriander, chopped - 1 tsp 
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Heat oil in a pan or kadai. Add makhana and roast for a good 5-6 minutes on a low flame till they become crisp & crunchy, keep stirring in between. Step 2 Take a medium-sized bowl and add roasted makhana, curds, onion, tomato, nuts, chili, chaat masala & mix well. Step 3 Garnish with Coriander & enjoy. You can add a tsp of green or meetha chutney too :) Omit Dahi & enjoy dry as well
