Golden tea contains anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial properties which help in reducing inflammation and improve immune functions. It also contains vitamin D, calcium and proteins.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp 
  • Water - 1/4 cup 
  • Coconut milk or almond milk - 1 cup 
  • Almond oil - 1/2 tsp
  • Honey [optional] - 1/2 tsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Stir the turmeric powder and water in a small saucepan.  Step 2 Bring to a simmer and allow to cook, keep stirring.  Step 3 Add milk, almond oil and honey [optional] to the turmeric paste in the saucepan and reduce the flame to low. Step 4 Bring milk just to a boil then remove from heat.  Step 5 Whisk briskly or blend if you prefer a frothier drink.  Step 6 Serve the Gulden Milk Tea while still hot.
