Brown rice is healthy, nutritious food. It is a whole grain that is low in calories, high in fiber and gluten-free. Fish is among the healthiest food on the planet. It is loaded with important nutrients such as protein and vitamin D. Fish is also the world's best source of omega-3 fatty acid which is important for body and brain.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Brown rice - 20 g
  • Boneless fish - 50 g
  • Onion - 30 g [make a paste]
  • Ginger - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli paste - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 2 to 3 tsp
  • Turmeric - ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp


DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Cut the fish into pieces and mix with onion paste, salt, green chilli paste, and pepper powder. Step 2 Shallow fry in oil until gulden brown. Step 3 Heat oil in a pan, stir fry rice, turmeric, and ginger for a few minutes. Step 4 Add sufficient water to the rice and cook till its three-fourths ready. Step 5 Add fish pieces, mix well and cook the rice until it is done.
